Q-points Bomber Patrol
Bomber Patrol is an online game designed to reward incremental sales of Black Horse Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) during the key plate change period of 2008. Based on the battleships mechanic, each participant has a unique grid which hides 20 winning squares, worth up to £2,500. The targets are determined by the participant’s prior PPI sales performance - the more PPI they have sold in past 6 months, the smaller their targets will be (and therefore statistically harder to hit). Participants earn bonus rewards for every target that is hit.
10 weeks into the 12 week campaign, the response rate is an exceptional 29%, with an ROI of 401%.
