The challenge
- Independent car dealerships represent an enormous opportunity for Black Horse Motor Finance. The task was to engage these dealers and incentivise them to sell BHMF loans.
The solution
- We created a reward scheme incentivising dealers based on the number and size of loans they sell.
- The scheme is facilitated by a website that we run, promoted by a seasonal rewards catalogue that we produce and mail, and managed by a helpline that we operate in-house.
- The huge range of rewards means dealers can collect towards practically anything they desire.
- We also drive engagement and tactical peaks in the scheme by creating online games that allow dealers to win more points.
The results
- The scheme has been running for 14 years and engages thousands of dealers across the country.
- Registered dealers deliver over 3-times the loan value of non-registered dealers, generating an extremely healthy ROI.
